 Canterbury Opening!

It's always great coming back home and we're doing it with a pair of horses and a needed claim.  Karl Broberg will be bringing up Jewel Azul whose first start will be ger first over the turf on Thursday night of opening week.  This is the exact spot we claimed her for so we're hoping for something good.

Nevada Litfin is bringing up Jimmie T.  The son of Will Take Charge took the place of Naveen, who was retired to a riding academy in Hot Springs.  Racing was not his bag, but the group picked up Jimmie T and he will head out opening night in the Lucky Last.

The Next Level Canterbury Group is now closed. It looks like we will end up with 21 members - not a bad turn out for the first year! Thank you to all that showed interest and joined up. We were outshook a few times at Oaklawn but will have the wallet ready at Canterbury!

Our "standard" offering is a group of 10-12 people with a buy in of $2000 per individual and runs like a regualr partnership: we're all in this together with wins and losses and we try and claim/buy a horse in the $10-$12,000 range.  We run wherever our trainers take us in the winter, but always try and comes back to Canterbury Park in the summer. We were trying to get one more group ready for the Canterbury season but may not reach our goal of 8 partners - we're halfway there but will need 4 more if you're interested.
